Does anyone in the UK, US or anywhere else this kind of plan has been brought in think they'll actually see any of that money? Of course not. The governments will hang onto it, spend it on whatever they feel is best (probably war) and we won't even notice unless it back fires and the banks end up screwed anyway. At which point they'll all hike up taxes and we'll all be paying even more.
