Charlottie is wrong! No offence who ever it is, tim was only in two, look it up if want haha

I like Golden Eye as best film, but Sean Connery for Bond. The scottishness makes it perfect.

Oddly, I just finished watching all the Bonds back to back last night. I bought Casino Royal on blueray at the beginning of the year, but it has taken me all this time to catch up from Dr No.

Best Bond. I dunno. I like the kinda humour / casualness that Brosnan and Moore brought to it. Moore was a bit camp for my liking though so probably Brosnan would be my favourite athough Dalton was very good.

I don't think we can rate Daniel Craig yet. The first film that he was in was based on the original book by Fleming and shows the character of Bond being created - a kinda "how did he end up as who he is" sorta thing. I am interested to see where they take him next.

Best film... garh. Goldfinger was excellent. Although, I like the gadgets from The World Is Not Enough. And the one where Brosnan races the car remotely through the car park - I want me one of them!

As far as action / effects go - Casino Royal is immense.

Die Another Day for me. Pierce Brosnan driving an Aston Martin Vanquish. Plus, earlier in the film, they play The Clash's "London Calling." Great film.

Simple. Goldeneye, Connery

Oh and best theme has to be either view to a kill or the living daylights.

One of the few songs where the cover was better than the original I think.

You've obviously never heard Geri Halliwell's version.

I was specificaly referring to the Guns n Roses cover. Geri Halliwell should be obscene and not heard.

I unfortunalely have seen every bond film about 100 times now and i still cant decide on a final tune that is the best. I didn't like madonna doing Die another die, But in saying that if it was someone else it might have worked, her voice just wasn't right.

Oh and a bit of triva for you, Thunderball was not an official bond film, even thou it is in the list. It was made by a diffrerent corperation, and as such if you watch it the bond theme doesn't appear!!! as rights to the tunes werent given to the film makes!!!!

And Casino Royale with daniel Craig, was the first bond film to not have the bond theme as a main part of it, infact the them only enteres the film at the end. Sony refused to use it in the film, the new one is said to be the same.

PS if you want a good spoof bond film look up the old casino royale, its a great laugh and a great film.

Think you've got it mixed up with Never Say Never Again there. It's basically a remake of Thunderball but wasn't a Cubby Broccoli production - there's a whole legal mess regarding it.

And the original Casino Royale with David Niven was an appallingly bad film - even as a spoof it really didn't work at all.
#361689
Didn't Woody Allen do something as Bond once? Or did I just dream it?
#361690
yes, he was in the David Niven Casion Royale spoof.

Casion? You know what I meant.
