What happened to your adverts for Fame Academy? Theyre using a woman now and they still dont mention Chris show.

This is a fairly obvious one but I don't think it's been asked yet - what are the team like off air? People say Chris is really quiet and sweet, is this true? And are Dave and Chris as good as friends as they seem? I know you don't want to say anything on the teams behalf but I don't think these questions over-step the boundary's do they?

I think they have asked that but Aled wants to not saying anything personal about the team for fear of being found out. They like privacy.

I know but I didn't think this would count as I'm not asking for details of their private lives, just about their off-air characters. I suppose its up to Aled.

maybe one day. But it's really hard at the moment to try and take everything in and say right stuff on air without trying to drop secret messages! I'm not very good at that.

How 'planned' is the show? Because y'know, the style is the kind that makes you think Chris has basically turned up 5 minutes beforehand, sat down, & improvises for 3 hours, but I'm sure loads of work does go into it, and I'd imagine that the improvised style includes a lot of planning beforehand, is this the case?

whats the strangest phone call you've ever had when you've been working in the studios? what do most people talk about when they ring up?

I have to be honest the majority of calls are wierd!!!

When I answer the callers tend to say one of three things...

1) is that Radio 1? Duh!
2) is that Chris Moyles?
or 3) Hi Aled <- that freaks me out!

Most people call up just to tell Chris something about their day or what's happened to them as if he's their best friend.

I record our Tueday ad on the monday (after the show). That says Tonight on BBC1 only.

I record Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after the show on Tuesday. The Wednesday and Thursday point to Friday night on BBC1. Wednesday's also says join me on Moyles from 3. (There's no FA update on the Thursday!)

Friday's has two versions... both pointing to BBC1 tonight one says join me on Moyles from 3 and the other (for broadcast during moyles or after that doesn't).

Despite what Chris says on air however it's BBC1 that "pays" for the slots so technically I'm not supposed to talk about Radio 1 - that was my condition for doing them.

I don't like talking about the others. For example what if Chris wants everyone to believe he's... (thinking of an exmple)... an angry person, he probably wouldn't want me to come on here spoiling that...

But from my ** OPINION ** Chris is adorable and kind, Dave is very clever, Lizzie is huggable and one of my favourite people at Radio 1, and Will is truly truly a local DJ who's trapped in a Producer's body who's mind is on 20 things at once!

These are all off-air though.

Things are being discussed. As far as I know, no. I do know however that I'll be producing a few DJ's over Christmas so there goes my Christmas hols in Wales!
