With the lovely Aled being in Belfast, Comedy Dave was doing a take on Duffy's "Warwick Avenue", which I thoroughly enjoyed this morning. The song was based around a street in Ireland!!

Well done. Very funny! :-)

Yeah all the Belfast stuff was excellent this morning. Good to see Nolan saw the funny side to all the shenanigans!
It got me thinking, why the show has never come live from Dublin. It's bound to make great radio....and a flight over is probably cheaper than a taxi around central London! There are thousands of people over here who listen online, including several irish national radio DJ's, judging by the sound of their output.Particularly Ray Foley on Today FM and Will Leahy on the 2FM drivetime show- He's even pinched the Rob DJ quiz theme music for his own show!

Well, Chris must be fairly familiar with Dublin, as he went there so often as a child. And he's done shows from Leeds, so why not one from Dublin? There must be some way to do it...

A certain Irish low cost airline has a sale on its Ireland-UK routes at the moment of 2 pounds return....so perhaps if we all chip in a few pence it might happen :D
for some reason that episode of Alan Partridge where he meets the two irish producers comes to mind...

[Talking about the Irish Potato Famine] “I mean, if it was just the potatoes that were affected, at the end of the day, you will pay the price if you're a fussy eater. If they could afford to emigrate then they could afford to eat in a modest restaurant.” :D

Ha well that too, but I was thinking more along the lines of the piece where alan is quizzed by the Irish producers:
"You ever been to ireland Alan?",
No i'd love to go.
"it amazes me how many prople say that when it's only 49 quid on a plane"
Yeah I think thats what puts me off...

We've done a show from Dublin! Jo Whiley and us from U2's studio when we went over to interview them. Dom didn't go.

Ah Aled that must have been well before my time :D I remember Chris doing a spoof Dublin sketch at the start of the show within the last year or so but thats it for me...it must be time for a repeat visit or even head outside the Capital to see how us country folk live. I can assure you there would be no shortage of material round my neck of the woods!

True but well what can you do. I wanted to see what it is like over here after hearing so many reviews what it was like. Quite like the layout of the site. I can see why some people don’t post on here never have I seen so many people be pandemic about spelling. I will have to try my best not to make mistakes and I will have to try show my articulate side in written from.
I have never done that before as you may have seen from the other site I tend to use Belfast slang or other slang. Note to self don’t ever do that on here.

No, it was the shock of seeing a whole post from you that I could understand first time! I knew you could do it!

By the way, impressively Freudian typo on the word "proof" there.........

I blame talk type for that one cant seem to get it to work with me at one hundred present I might be saying the words wrong or else it could just be my voice that’s the problem still I did not see that it was poof instead of prove / proof. Any way it is now fixed . Thank you yudster :D

bbb, I am aware you may have trouble with spelling, as S4B pointed out, so please don't think I'm having a go, however, your posts would be an awful lot easier to read if you put a bit of punctuation into them.. just a tip.
