Yes, it was badly thought out. It is possible though that the Face of Bo isn't, infact, dead (despite the long death scene we had that series), or that Jack is only mostly immortal, perhaps he can still die of old-age (with a significantly reduced ageing process).

Martha is quite likely to be in Torchwood, especially considering her guest appearances last series, and as for Mickey, there were rumours that he was going to be in it, and the ending of the Doctor Who episode did seem to imply that it is certainly a possibility. I don't think anything has been announced yet, but it would good if they were. Also, I think the next series of Torchwood is going to be a mini-series, airing all in one week, which could be interesting.

Both Mickey and Martha will be in Torchwood next year which will only be 5 episodes long. It'll be interesting to see how that works to be honest.

One bit I didn't quite understand. If the Daleks stopped the Tardis working, how did it escape the big Neutrino thing? Had they switched off the restraining time whatsit they used in the first place when they dropped it down there?

When the Doctor and Donna were at the Shadow Proclamation, the Doctor asked Donna if anything odd had been happening on Earth and she remembered the bees disappearing. It turns out some, but not all, bees are little aliens and they had begun migrating back to their home planet. The Doctor was able to follow their trail backwards so that he could find the Earth where the Daleks had hidden it.
