A random question... Chris was talking about his running last week. He was saying that although he feels terrible at the start of his exercise, the more he does, the more he wants to do... Do you experience this too?

I was randomly trying out his theory on Saturday, and it's true!!! I was out running, kept going, and didn't actually want to come back.

Absolutely - actually forcing myself to start is always the worst bit - it just gets better from there on and I'm the same, I often find myself wanting to just keep going.

Chris should just get another treadmill, hes not short of a bob or two. I think the powers of negative suggestion may have overruled him. He shouldn't give up so easy!

It might take just as long to get a new one delivered as it will to fix this one though. I think he's got a proper "industrial" one, not the usual type sold for domestic use that you can pick up in Argos.

he has got a treadmill and he announced his flat is too small for another so that might be a reason also but dont you think he just might be like perfect as he is ?? could you really see a slim chris moyles ?? 8O

Back to being papped on Primrose Hill it is then. Unless he can find a better make of the industrial sort in good time.

Have to say I don't understand why people would only ever run on treadmills, they serve a purpose but they aren't half dull to run on. No change of scenery, no fresh air or anything. I love my lunchtime runs round London, I get to run past Westminster and St Pauls Cathedral and also get to barge into, swear at and generally be mean to tourists.

Surely treadmills don't push you as hard as a proper run either? I mean the surface you're running on is moving, you don't have to push so hard.. if that makes sense.

I'd love to do that, Bruvva... run by the Thames. Indoor running can sometimes be OK, if you've got music as a distraction....

O St. Pauls *sighs* my gran took me up there as a little girl. We only got so far, 'cos her hat blew off before we got to the top. T'was always my dream to get to the top.

You might not enjoy it so much if pictures of you running with various nasty comments appeared all over the tabloids the next day though Bruvva. Hasn't he said he'd rather run properly, but the last time he got papped was the last straw? I think I can see his point , although I reckon if he did, there might be a few pictures but the novelty would soon wear off and they'd leave him alone. Or am I being naive?

I almost came a cropper on a treadmill once, it was broken and only had one speed - maximum. I managed to leap to safety before I got propelled backwards and into some steroid addled weight lifters.

And Yuds, I know what you mean - I seem to remember a fairly spiteful caption underneath a picture of him jogging round primrose hill once but then yes, after a while, I'm sure the novelty of pictures of him doing exercise would wear off. Maybe he just doesn't fancy running up those steep hills in NW London?

I've always thought that too, you definately have to push yourself alot harder on a proper run where as because the ground on treadmill keeps on going, I don't think you don't push yourself as much. Although if you just stopped on a treadmill you'd fall off; at least if you run outside you can just stop, where as on treadmills you have to keep running until you slow it down yourself so that much push you as well?

tit.

There are health risks inherent with being overweight - diabetes, heart disease, stroke, sleep apnea, etc. His treadmill broke again, which could be indicative of the quality of the item. Moreover, his exercise regime is good for him. To say he should just give it up is inane.

What she said. Plus go away and leave us alone, we're fed up with your constantly whining comments which have no basis in reality.

Chris, Console - do you think you might consider putting him out of our misery?

Since it's a Monday, i'll not bother thanks. Since you have a booze problem though, you feel free to top up your own.
