i only listen until around 8:30 but the last two shows have been awful in my opinion, I dont know if its the sony hangover but the rubbish treadmill/doughnut idea coupled with the same old local radio jokes today has been generally lazy. They seem to be doing the same material..i dont know if the production team have been busy doing other things. Anyway Moyles get back on track fella!

I have just laughed till it hurt with the local radio stuff. * hilarious - they haven't done that since St Georges day last year.

Great show today Thursday anyway. By the way is their any truth in what Chris was saying today about Iron bru being made from girders. Can anybody from Scotland confirm or deny????

Irn Bru definately IS made from "Grdrs" despite an EU ruling that it isn't.

Today's show was piss your pants funny! As was the last two days worth. You can NEVER take the piss out of local radio enough. Seriously I had to put up with Jo and Twiggy for 8 years! The treadmill stuff was great because I don't think it's been done before and Carrie Prideaux screaming "I've done 29 gimmie an olive" was fantastic. As was the Je-tem/Carrie heavy breathing bit. Did it for me. Lucky I was in the shower really.

The impromptu "Chin Chin's - Fat Sue" parody today was great, second only to Moo Cow Daisy and The Way you Mill Me Phil!

I agree Andy B. its shows like today that hey won the Sony for...none of the competition even come close!

Getting back to the girders, how could even such a tiny amount amount of metal be dissolved into a fizzy drink....surely an urban myth perhaps? Having tried the stuff before, raw Iron was not the flavour that came to mind.
But dident Coca Cola begin with a small amount of Cocaine before the FDA in the states banned the ingredient...so perhaps!

The shows have been hilarious. I woke people up here laughing. You have to actually run on a treadmill and watch how slowly those numbers go by to truly understand and empathiSe with the "29 calories for an olive" issue!

Why do I think that people such as dodger are probably something to do with the show???

Anyway I think this weeks shows have been some of the best, you can hear the pod-cast bits as they happen. Fat Sue was a highlight.

I've been listening to the shows on "listen again" this week even though I heard them broadcast live. That's generally a good indicator of my enjoyment levels. That plus the laughing out loud at Fat Sue which caused some concern to the elderly couple waiting in the car next to me at the traffic lights.

I think the show has been excellent the last couple of days. Seems the team spirits have been lifted by winning the Sony award. Generally speaking, to get a snap shoot of the week to the podcast, lol.

This weeks shows have been brilliant. Todays especially was superb. The "Westwood Stand-Up" bit was truly laugh out loud funny.

Well foot loose I think that solves the mysterey, girders it is.
The only thing missing from that ad is a glasweigan pronuncing the girders bit...now that would be class.
