Well you say that - but come the weekend, we won't actually hear any of whats going on as it happens - or even much of it recorded. I hate the Big Weekend coverage because you get all built up to hear these live sets, and then you never do - except the odd song over the next couple of weeks. Its always such a disappointment.

I thought it was from Thursday that people could find out online whether they had a ticket, and from Friday they would be letting people know by email?

We've got some amazing news for you. You've been lucky enough to be selected to receive
a pair of tickets to Radio 1's Big Weekend on Saturday May 10th.

A unique order reference code has been created for you: ##########

Note that this is different to the registration number you were given when first applying
and it is this code you will need if you have any problems - so please keep safe.

There are some very important things you need to be aware of so please read this email carefully.

TICKET DELIVERY
Your tickets will be posted to you and should arrive from Tuesday 6th May onwards. They will
be sent to the address you registered with and we cannot change this address.

IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE YOUR TICKETS
Your tickets are personalised and traceable to you. If you don't receive them we can cancel
them and arrange for you to collect replacements, however you will need to provide photo ID
and proof you live at the registered address. If your tickets have not arrived by Thursday
8th May then please call our 24 hour helpline on 0844 412 4633. Please have the order code
above with you when you call.

If your original tickets arrive after you've cancelled them, please destroy them - they will
not let you into the event.

TICKET SECURITY
All tickets have your name, address and a unique barcode on them. Please keep them safe and dry.
We have to be able to scan this barcode on the gate. You may be asked for proof of identity, age
or address at the entrance.

COMPETITION
Unless you opted not to be considered for any competitions, we may still phone you in the week
prior to the event and you could win a pair of our Golden Tickets.
