Longman moved to Florida to be a personal trainer, got married and seems to have lost touch with Chris and Dave (publicly at least). There was some talk that they'd actually had a falling out over something, but that was probably nonsense.

I did get that feeling, but it could just be that he never called or got in touch.

Then again, maybe there was a huge arguement. Everyone loves a scandal.

I moved to the US after getting married.

I did not sleep with Carrie, don't believe the hype.

As for you saying I am a goon? Lets be honest, I was pretty good on the show as it seemed whenever I was on, that bit would be used for the trail all day. It just sounds to me like you are jealous derek as I am sure you would have given your right arm to do what I did, only you would not have been nearly as good. If you still don't agree, then I guess I am happy being a goon, waking up to glorious sunshine every day in my brand new luxury house, with my beautiful wife, deciding if I should go take a dip in my pool or wheather to ride roller coasters all day.

As for Chris and I, friends drift apart regardless of what they do. We simply just don't talk as much but all is good.

I always thought Longman was great when he was on the show, everytime he was on he never failed to make me laugh!
I think there must be more to it than them simply drifting apart though! It's obvious Longman was good value when he was on the show, surely Chris would want to keep him part of it. Even if it is a brief phone call on air telling us what he has been up to it would still make for good listening. Who wouldn't have 10 minutes to spare to speak to an old friend?

Well, not so much what Andy B said, although that might be the reality for all I know. I thought that the self-important and self-aggrandising tone of your post might actually be a reflection of your true personality (although you always seemed nice enough on the show), and if that is the case I can see why Chris and Dave might feel they can't be bothered with you any more. I've no way of knowing whether that's anywhere close to the truth, and someone somewhere also suggested that your initial post was "a joke", but if it is I missed that.

Oh sorry I read it like you were having a bit of a go, to me you were saying it's hardly surprising he don't phone Chris, he's alright Jack, his old friends can go * themselves. Which would not be a nice interpretation.

For what it's worth I would imagine that as time has gone on Mr Moyles is probably the one who has suffered time constraints in meeting up. As a bloke for a mate to be a mate, you need to go out on the piss with them at least quarterly for the friendship to last, thats what I think anyway.
