I deeply enjoyed Somerset Boy this morning, one of the best yet. Made oi larf.

It was quite funny, but I'm generally not a fan of 'novelty' songs in general. They just seem a bit too wacky.

I've just never been a fan of musical comedy for some reason. A lot of people I know also aren't.
Edit - apart from Flight of the Conchords, which I love, for some strange reason.

I think musical comedy, like most other comedy, is funny once.. but people have a tendency to listen to songs more than once - even if it's a comedy song, so it gets tiresome.

Today's was pretty good, bar one thing - the laziness of keeping half of the original lyrics in there.

Best one i've heard this year is the paroday of Nickleback's 'Rock Star', called 'Pop Star'.

Be gentle with me, I'm new. Somerset Boy was one of the funniest parodies I've heard in ages. They mentioned making a CD this morning. I would buy it if only to cheer me up on the REALLY bad mornings on the way to work!
