At the start, I kinda got the impression that Chris wasn't too sure of him, but it certainly warmed up as it progressed. Someone texted in saying that it was second only to the JLC interview... I wouldn't go that far, but it was good enough.

I thought he was great - relaxed, open, spontaneous, funny (not like a comedian funny, but funny) and happy to talk lots. And he sounds like a lovely person too, although obviously you can't really tell. I too however wouldn't go as far as making comparisons to the incomparable.

I am still none the wiser as to who this Sean McGuire is. Its all well and good saying he's been in this and that but i havent a clue.

He didn't say anything to the effect that he didn't like him, he just said something along the lines of it being a proper interview, rather than having a laugh with the guest (or the other way round, I can't remember). Moyles said that's down to him as the interviewer to steer the interview in the way he sees fit, but Aled disagreed.

I enjoyed this interview more than any other this year.
I thought Sean was intelligent, funny and interesting!
But most of all, I loved that Chris and Dave went into proper inerview mode and did a great job!
Note to team : Brilliant radio; do it again!!!
