The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

JK and Joel will be sitting in for Christian O'Connell for a week commencing Good Friday.

Seems they have become quite important figures at Virgin Radio now, and maybe worth a listen over the Easter bank holiday if you're up. Wouldn't be surprised if they became the new hosts of the show sometime in the future and end up one of Moyles' "rival" shows.

Off topic, n00b, how dare you, etc ;)

I'll give them a listen I think - will be interesting to hear if they've changed their style. And the banter of them going opposite Moyles should be funny!

I always liked JK and Joel. I miss them on early breakfast, Greg James is absolutely terrible.

Jono's not a newcomer. He's recently returned though, possibly to test the water because previously UM was not well received here.

I know - I just liked the way that if a new person posted that here he'd get slated. :D

Why? It wasn't a negative comment about the show, it wasn't particularly badly put together, why would it have been slated?

The only thing I can think of that people might think would be to say why post that here, what's it got to do with the Moyles show - but that's a bit of a long shot really. It is a bit dull and pointless I suppose, but dull and pointless seem to be the new fashion around here, so I can't see anyone objecting.

I'm sure i've seen non-Moyles topics get some flak on here before and yes it is dull and pointless.
Come to think about it, it's only been from one or two members so I was wrong to say that.

I'll blame my grumpiness on the coursework.

Well it's to do with Moyles' rival breakfast shows, and Joel was mentioned only this morning on the show. They're technically friends of the shows and ex-Radio 1 DJs.

I thought I'd post it before Viv reposts it anyway

True. I was only having a pop at TIAL anyway - that was the only thing I could fault you on.

I really liked JK and Joel at breakfast when they were on Key 103 (have I mentioned that before?!). Perhaps at Virgin they can emulate this.

actually I heard them on Virgin the other weekend and they were very funny. Much funnier than I remember them being on Radio 1 although I guess I wouldn't be that funny at 4am!

Bring back Wes I say.

I'm glad JK and Joel are getting somewhere. They deserved a bit more than they got and I always though "well at least its both of them as opposed to one or the other on the chart show like with Reggie and/or Ferne"

I used to like the early morning handovers. Was worth setting the alarm 10 minutes earlier.
