Now I know I'm new to this whole forum thingy so please don't jump all over me (...you lot can be a wee bit scarey to us newbies sometimes). Not really got anything bad to say anyway but I really DO miss Dave.

It's not that the show is bad without him but I just love the chemistry and timing between him and Chris. You can tell they know each other inside and out and I love that. Chris sounds genuinly happy to talk to Dave on the phone whilst he's doing his sport relief stuff and I just can't wait for them to be re-united (aahhhhhh).

He also contributes so much to the show behind the scenes, more so than I think we realise (the recent chuawa song for example had me in tears driving to work) and I have to say I feel a little bit lost without him. He's just so dry.

Him and Chris have got so much history and have tons of dirt on each other. It's when these stories casually come out that I feel really priveliged to be listening in.

Today's and Friday's show weren't bad, but I do agree that there is a little something missing. Dave has an important role on the show, all of the team members do, and when they're gone it is noticed.

I completely agree, Dave is an absolute legend. I only really started listening regularly a few weeks ago when i started driving but the show really is different without him.
Aled's good and he throws in a few jokes here and there but Dave is just brilliant. It should be called the Chris and Dave show in my opinion. Possibly the Chris and Dave ft. Aled and Carrie show...

I'm also new and agree entirely. It shows that Chris and Dave are good mates as their chemistry is excellent and they work perfectly together. If Moyles was on his own I'd still listen as I'm a fan of his, but I'm more a fan if his show because the "team" element makes it what it is. Dom also makes a great contribution to the show and is very funny as do Rachel and Aled and to a degree Carrie. It's like when Scott Mills has no Chappers on his show. It's still good, but it just lacks something.

Correct spelling and grammar go a LONG way on this forum. That's the only reason I think we're seen as being hostile.

I agree Dave is missed from the studio, but the whole Sport Relief runs thing is going really well, I think it's great radio and the show still sounds good to me. It will be nice to have Dave back when it's all over, but what he and Chappers are doing is radio gold.
