It's definitley polarising the matter (well, certianly the first programme was - the second one was more about politics). I think they should really be showing the experiences of all working class people - what colour or religion you are doesn't really make a great deal of difference. A system where people would prefer to take benefits rather than go to work has to be questioned, I think.
It's definitley aiming to make people think in a polarised manner - but I think the answer is not that simple (nothing ever is). I personally think that a multicultural society brings so much to this country and should be encouraged, however any situation that results in people not being able to communicate with those around them and therefore not feeling totally included in the community is a bad place to be for all involved.
