I am just on you tube listening to some Dire Straits, Billy Joel and Pink Floyd...
Listening to them brings back so many memories of my childhood. Is there any bands/songs that remind you of your childhood and growing up that you will never forget?

I grew up in the late 70s/80s, but my parents mainly played 60s music so that's what reminds me of growing up - The Beatles, The Hollies, The Move, etc. They did listen to a bit of (relatively!) contemporary stuff too - The Carpenters, Dr Hook, and Billy Joel as well. I went to see him in concert with my mum last year and he was ace.

I do remember some pop music from the 80s as well - Adam Ant particularly, also Ghost Town by The Specials really brings back memories for some reason.

older music, you mead elgar or even old peasant songs from the 14th century? those are hot.

for real older music- i only listen to the kinks and the who cos i think the beatles were sort of boring. i love saying it to, just to be provocative.
