I was reading about something called Summer Burn recently which is this idea where, in a nutshell, you send someone who registered a compilation CD of songs you like and you receive a cd from someone else and it made me wonder about what songs I'd choose. Frankly I've no idea but I thought I'd post about it on here and see what tunes others would send to people.

Maybe my track listing would be

1) Robert Wyatt - Sea Song
2) Ike and Tina Turner - Proud Mary
3) The Clash - Bank Robber
4) Nina Simone - Sinnerman
5) Ella Fitzgerald - Sunshine of your love
6) DJ Format - 33 Percent B-Boy
7) Evil 9 - Crooked
8) Orbital - Chime
9) London Elektricity - Power Ballads
10) Gotan Project - Paris, Texas

Secret Hidden track....

Althia and Donna - Up Town Top Rankin' :D

So go on then , what would you put on yours?

Biffy Clyro - Justboy
Sigur Rós - Hoppipolla
Incubus - New Skin
Rage Against The Machine - Know Your Enemy
Lamb of God - Laid To Rest
Sucioperro - Dialog On The 2
Pantera - Cowboys From Hell
Muse - Plug In Baby (or some other song, not too sure yet)
Reuben - Freddy Krueger
Alice In Chains - Heaven Beside You

No doubt I'll want to change this, but it'll do for now.

Hmmm, after seeing Viv's list I think we need to implement a "one song per artist" rule.

Bloody hell, where to start? I like my compilations to be themed so it would depend on the theme. I do have a "random stuff" playlist that changes all the time, but it definitely includes Imperium by Machine Head and This Love by Pantera. They are two of my perennial faves.

the tubes - white punks of dope

that started off strong, but ended like crap.

Seeing as no one spotted my secret message, I now, shamefully, feel the need to point it out.
