Ok, back on track - the chat room is always open. Just not always populated. Going by your logic tom, the thread should have been locked as soon as the first person who posted this information posted it.

Technically this thread doesn't have a topic, it poses a question which has one answer. In fact, Iain probably should have PMd the question to Console or Chris, because it really is a completely rubbish thread topic.

Of course the other option would have been to put it in the Site Questions section, where it would have been right at home - but that would be too much to ask of that particular twit.
