Sometimes your in an environment where you have to listen, I think he is very big headed and he loves the sound of his own voice way too much. Its sad because he never used to be like that, the more succesful he becomes the more obnoxious he gets.

I've never really understood that phrase, what is wrong with liking (or loving) the sound of your own voice - it seems a better alternative to hating it - and, taken non-literally, what's wrong with someone that talks a lot - especially if their job is based around talking, like if they hosted a radio show, for example?

On a more serious note your opinion is a valid one, as are all backed up, reasonable points of view. There is indeed an easy solution i.e stop listening to the show.
However, do you think people are really going to want to hear this point of view on this website? What is the point of your comments? Do you think you are going to stir up uproar on the board?

He claims he can't, probably because other people, that like Chris Moyles, listen to the show around him, and, obviously, the management have banned the use of head/ear-phones with personal radios, cd players, or even a computer and are unyielding on any reversal of that policy - his last resort, it would seem, is to come on here and try to shame Chris Moyles into to stopping the radio show. Alas, I think he may not find the solution he so desperately seeks here. The only avenue left now is to find another place of employment, and one, at that, that either disallows all aural distractions, disallows Chris Moyles, or allows the use of head/ear-phones. Good luck with the job-hunt, Goku.

I think the opposite, though I've never thought of him as 'obnoxious', he has mellowed and certainly the show is appeals more to the mainstream than it used to.

Comments such as that won't incite much anger on the board, if that is your aim. Obviously Chris has a big ego, or he wouldn't call himself the saviour of radio one, its part of his humour. If you don't like his style then there are plenty of other radio stations out there.

Who is in a position to judge people then? Are you? You seem to be judging Moyles, and you are just whatever it is you are - why is that different? Simply put, it's not. These are not legal matters, or things that require expertise - his judgements, and yours, are just opinions. He, as well as you and everyone else are in a perfect position to judge and make opinions on all manner of things. You may not like it, but that's not relevant.

I mainly enjoy the parts of the show where he is talking, while the music is obviously an important part of Radio I think the balance they have at the moment is great. If you don't like the show then listen to your mp3 player or something
