When I was a kid, whenever I got coughs and woke people up in the night, my mum used to make me take this cough medicine and it was the most disgusting stuff I've ever tasted. I mean worse than vegetables and everything! Seriously foul. I don't remember what it was called, it had a giraffe on the front though. Honestly, buy an alternative if you need some.

When I was a kid I barely ate so my mother used to force an appetite stimulant into me 3 times a day. It was a cough syrup type of medicine. Supposedly tasted of "grapes". It was vile and to this day I'm not fond of grape flavoUred anything. I also don't eat unless I'm absolutely famished and I won't take cough syrup at all. I'd sooner stay up all night hacking and wheezing than touch a drop. I don't even like making my kids take it - and they do, without a problem. Blegh!
