So the team were talking about their Relationship horror stories today.
I have a similar one to Aled actually...
About 4 years ago I went to New York with a couple of mates, and one night I got chatting to a girl called Rochelle in the hotel bar. We swopped email addresses, and when i got back home i emailed her. Well we carried on talking, first by email, then by MSN, then on the phone. It got to the point where we were chatting on the phone every night, and when we weren't doing that we were on MSN. I think it was safe to say our 'relationship' moved on a bit (Phone sex is great....) so after about 6 months I arranged to fly over to North Carolina and stay with her for a week.
Well the first night was amazing.
So was the second day.
On the third day we went up into the mountains looking for bears. While we were eating our picnic (and with still 4 days of my holiday to go) she told me she didn't think the distance thing would work (which is ironic seeing as we were the closest to each other we had ever been...). Well that night we went for a lovely meal and still held hands etc. The following day she admitted she didn't find me as attractive as she thought. The following 3 days she was as cold as anything, and very irritable. during that time she'd decided another aspect that it would never work was because i wasn't Jewish (why it hadn't crossed her mind in the 6 months before i have no idea...)
Well I've only heard from her once since then, despite her still wanting to be friends.
Ok, i've shown you mine, now you show me yours....
