That is what Annie Mac has (perhap[s somewhat controversially) stated live on air.What do the rest of you think.Is she 'the best' solo dj ( no 2 to the mighty Moyles of course overall!) Is she uniquely talented beyond what her listening figures on the breakfast show indicated?
Its clear Annie is not a fan of Chris anyway!

Surprisingly, no, I don't think Sara is the best on Radio One. In fact, forgetting whither or not I like the moyles show or the format etc etc - I don't think there is a DJ more talented than Moyles. I mean on a technical level - he is able to operate the studio completly seamlessly which i'm pretty sure is no easy task.

Yeah, his abilities for that were shown in an even better light when Dave tried it yesterday morning. Even though I hate him, I think Scott Mills is quite good at that too.

And no, she's not the best. I used to despise her but I just merely tolerate her now, she's got a bit better. Jo and Edith both manage better solo shows.

I can't miss Chris in the mornings but I find myself skipping through the music - with Zane I listen the whole way through

I would agree on a technical level, but humour level it's chris then Scott, then Sarah actually who I do think is very good.

I think for comedy value its Moyles then Coxy.Scott has comedy on his show but hes not a natural comedian like Chris is.

Zane is one of the best technical DJs I have ever heard. Sara Cox is crap, Nihal is crap. (Just my opinion) This reminds me of the 'Two Bins' thread.

I like Coxy, she always makes me laugh. But Annie Mac was just being provocative. And bearing in mind some of her personal prejudices, I wouldn't put too much store in her opinion on this subject.
