let all play a game on which amazing, new and fresh guests moyles will have on in the next few months. mmmmm let me think...davina, gordon ramsey, allan / jimmy carr, the prick cheggers...rinse and repeat. and how many of his 'special guests' will be wheeled out for the annual lame birthday show lol

i just think its time to stop dragging out the same guests all the time..it just reeks of you scratch my back and i'll scratch yours

im already ready for the barrage from the moyles 'special' fans with the 5000 posts each - :D

I actually think we've already discussed somewhere about how he's bringing out the same guests a lot. Why are you being so argumentative Dodger, were you drunk at 3am and bored? If you don't like the show don't listen.

I would imagine, Dodger, that this is fairly typical of a lot of radio shows : "you scratch my back, I'll scratch your's"... a lot of things in life work like this, my dear. That said, I would like to hear someone completely new and refreshing. Someone totally random, that I wouldn't have expected. :-)

My opinion always counts, as does everyone's, from 1 post to 1,000,000 :-)

As much as my opinion doesn't count (going by both Dodger's and Viv's definitions), the guests that tend to be regular are the guests that work well with the show and understand the concept. They're the most entertaining guests. They do try and get other guests on; sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Chris Rock didn't. Neither (in my opinion) did Kelly Osborne. The worst ones won't get on again (though Kelly perhaps will.)

I'd be interested as to why you think Cheggars is a prick, Dodger? Do you have personal experience of this? Because (as much as I don't want to wheel out the story again) I do and I can tell you he's a thoroughly nice bloke.

I'm not sure what my post count it, but I think it's relatively high. Just wanted to agree with you, it's something I've thought myself quite a lot lately.

Personally, I like the guests who are "friends of the show". They know the team, get the jokes, and are generally more entertaining than the celebs who have no idea who Chris is.

I always enjoy the shows with the regulars, but find myself thinking that I shouldn't, that it would be better to have fresh people on - but then Cheggers pops up and it's hilarious, so it feels like a guilty pleasure.......

True. I mean, would you rather listen to the interview with Justin Lee Collins or the one with Chris Rock?

See, it happened again this morning. Sharon and Ozzy are coming on, and you think "ooh great, they're always brilliant, this'll be fun". And it was, I'm sure (work got in the way so it's listen again for me) - but I can't help thinking that it would be good to be sourcing guests who will be fun, understand the show, will bounce off the format, but aren't in every five minutes. I'm sure there must be loads.

That is true, but at least Sharon and Ozzy had a valid reason to be in.

I must admit when I heard it was Sharon and Ozzy on today I did think to myself that the same guests again and again are getting a bit tiresome. I don't find them particularly interesting either. They could definitely do with some fresh blood.
