I think you should be given points based on the merit of the ones you know (obviously except the Googled ones). If you choose not to use your lifelines, that is entirely up to you.

12 D - I'd like to point out that QI says that there is only one lake in the whole of the lake district anyway and none of them are actually lakes so this is a trick question and unless you wanna argue with Stephen Fry and an ear biting Alan Davies then I get a point for this or else!
13 - C?
14 - B
15 B ? - Haven't listned again yet so don't know....

Couldn't be bothered googling more than one of them this week....

QI is wrong.

Or Wikipedia is wrong. I know which one I trust.

Given the choice between Qi, Stephen, fry, and a whole team of BBC researchers or a website where any numpty or crazed drunk Scotsman can edit it I think I know what I'd choose too!

I'm not saying my answer is the only right answer, I'm saying that they are all right answers as apparently only one place has lake in the title or something. And I'm sure it's neither if them. Does you tube count as cheating if I can find the bit I'm on about?

I'm not really sure what it is that we are discussing here? Is it whither or not there is more than one lake in the lake district? If it is true that there is only one, what are the rest called? The definition of a lake is a large body of water - in the lake district there are lots of large bodies of water - what do you call them if they are not lakes? They're mighty big puddles!

So that little hole with water in that my mum has in her garden, that's a lake?

I knew her village was posh (well my mate thinks it is; he thinks port glasses are what this village uses to do shots), but that's taking it a bit far..!

I think it was to do with the names, most of them end in something that's not lake. I think it was the latest series.

This quiz is stupid, almost none of it concerns what goes on inside the M25! I'm gonna do a quiz solely about London like "how much is a zone1 single?" and "name the three original cities that now make up London?" and "which parts did British engineers contribute to the eye?"

The correct answer for anyone who lives inside the M25 is "I don't know as I live here!"

See, I think I'd get that if it were a question.. I'm sure I'd get two of them anyway, must be the City of London and the City of Westminster. If it were multiple choice I'd get it I reckon.

Plymouth is made up of 3 towns.

Can you name them ?

No? Can't be arsed.

Well Plymouth, Devonport, and Morice Town were all originally part of the city. Plympton joined later.

Morice Town is where I had a pub and the kids went to school, it got bombed allot, and people liked drink and drugs. It also is between PLymouth and St Bedeaux which is nice, if you are a search engine.

Andy, no one but you cares! Also I'm not sad enough to want to know about tube travel which, I believe, would be your chosen specialist subject on Mastermind. Oooh new thread!
