I don't actually know who "Bat for Lashes" are.. first I heard the name was on Saturday with Nihal, I think. You may check them out, however, this week, with Jo.. Kate Nash is on today about now, I believe.

Out of that list my vote goes to Mika.

Never heard of Bat for Lashes. Probably some crap that is typical Jo Whiley that she will try to shove down our throats.

Kate Nash is the only person i would go for apart from by pick. Foundations was a great hit. In a way took over from Lily Allen as the * party girl turned pop star.

Leona Lewis is only there because she won X-Factor, although she does have a pretty decent voice.

Klaxons have only really had 1 big hit last year, and i cant remember the name of it so thats how much of an impact theyve had on me.

Personally i would have to go for Mika. Had some great hits last year that were catchy and very easy to remember. He is probably my guilty pleasure.

Got to admit though, am very surprised that Arctic Monkeys arent nominated for this catogary. They would probably win it.

I'd vote for Klaxons or Kate Nash out of that lot. Definitely not Leona Lewis, I mean, she was in X Factor ferchrissakes.

As for arctic monkeys, like people have said, they haven't just broken through, plus i think they are highly overrated.
