Keep them on a warming plate or cover them with a clean linen towel while you make the rest

I have just made loads of pancakes for my kids and Mr S4! I don't like them so I just kept cooking and flipping until they were full up!

The pancakes are nice because of the kitchen tiles?

True, but she has clearly been taking "Yudwuk's Guide to writing in paragraphs".

They're not "proper" pancakes though are they...they're the *other* kind......

They do look lovely, but they are Scotch pancakes. Undeniably delicious, but not the same as a traditional pancake around here. Actually I think I prefer the Scotch type.

And engerlish pancakes don't taste of anything - you need to pile lemon juice / sugar / syrup on them for them to taste of anything.

Scotch pancakes, crispy bacon and maple syrup. MacDonalds have tried, but they can't do crispy bacon.
