The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Can anyone think of ways in which Moyles & team can officially trounce Wogan in the listening "battle". What would be that final push that's going to do it?

What feature could be introduced that would be honey to everyone's ears? I'd like to see some random topic of the day introduced, which people could text in about. Then a listener could be chosen at random to speak on air, and debate/argue with Moyles. This may prove to be extremely funny, I think. :-)

Topping Wogan is very tough. He has the millions of elderly people in the UK for a start!

I like your idea though!

My favourite bits of the show are the early parts when Chris is talking about the night before, tv or generally getting something off his chest! Some kind of 'Rant Of the Day!' would be very funny!

Ah, but the thing that turns the rants into brilliant radio is their spontanaiety. If he had to produce one every day I doubt they'd be so good. I like the idea of him having an on-air argument with Viv on a regular basis though. I'd definitely listen to that.

Haha that's a brilliant idea Yudwuk! I agree about the spontanaiety too.

I think just keep doing what they are doing. Moyles said himself today that they are creeping up on Wogan's listening figures. Obviously keep getting great guests in would help.

Perhaps some sort of daily feature might help. What that would be though i dont know.

The 'Say No To Wogan' campaign was very tongue-in-cheek and funny. I think it'd have had a genuine knock-on effect, it's a shame they ended it so soon.

I think they were given a bollocking for it.

And rightly so... Wogan Forever.

I wondered about that. I wouldn't be surprised if thats why they stopped it so suddenly.

You have to remember that RAJAR doesn't survey folk 15 and under.

With that in mind it's not *that* unlikely that Moyles has more listeners than Wogan.

Maybe the case but I'm sure Moyles would rather beat him in the official figures. It's like winning a match on a disqualification. Like that time some team or other didn't turn up to play against Scotland, the game lasted 3 seconds. Still for them a win's a win I guess.

Or winning due to a really controversial penalty decision which the video replay shows was clearly outside the box as Pompey have done on a couple of occasions this season!

I'm happy to admit, I know nothing about football, but am I not right in saying that Scotland did considerably better than England in whatever that carry on last year was?

Away and sing about yer 1966 pish or whatever it was.

Why would you be angry because Foot-loose took the piss out of Yudster?

Unless you are in fact, Mr Yudster?

He isn't. Where did the piss get taken out of me anyway? Apart from the obvious age thing, which is ok? As far as the world cup thing is concerned, I'm with the rest of the world on this - England won it so long ago in history that it makes no sense at all to keep going on about it as though it makes any difference to the absolute shower of crap we are now. We're still better than Scotland though - but if they had completed the miracle and qualified for the European finals, I'd have been really happy. Like I would have been if Havant and Waterlooville had beaten Liverpool. It's the same situation really.
