i dont know what it was, but it was very good....in fact it was a particually good show this morning till bout 8.00 when i had to stop listening

I am so glad Birthday Corner has gone, I'm definitely with Chris in thinking I couldn't give a f*ck about peoples birthdays that I don't even know! LOL

I liked birthday corner. Not at first, but it grew on me and it was worth it just for the jingle.

Actually, if they'd just play the jingle every morning without the cards, I'd be happy.

If iv'e said it once i've said it a thousand times. Birthday corner was one of the best pieces of radio ever. But like all good things only has a short shelf life and it's a bigger when they only give you a days notice they're recording the Xmas show the next day and you're born on Xmas day so stand bugger all chance of getting your card read out.

On that basis alone, I'm glad it's gone!

I'm sure the jingle is available somewhere, if you download it then you can play it to your hearts content - without pissing the rest of us off.

Not sure of the name but isn't it from the film Forest Gump? I think it is at the start of the film where the feather is floating around.

Apart from that thaure's noot ah can dae in type form, giz a ring sometime pet. Most of it is Bo Selecta inspired I will admit, just a bit of muckin aboot. Then theres Trisha, if she were to do the pub quiz she would say "When I say rice you say pea, rice.... rice...."
