My sister and her other half are having a hell of a problem coming up with a boy's name that they both like at the moment.

I also like Josh and suggested Drew, but it's "too Australian". Ryan is "too Welsh", so I said what about George.. "too patriotic" (!)

I also suggested Leo, Jack.. they just can't agree. He wants Lennon, which is rubbish.

Boy's names are much much harder than girls names. What about Joel?

I know it's awful. Lennox is better than Lennon. Marginally.

He had also suggested Harrison, until I asked if he was going to go through all the Beatles.

S4B wrote:Give them a Baby Name Book Toph

They've got two, they're not brilliant.

Yudster wrote:Boy's names are much much harder than girls names.

I agree, very much harder. I can think of loads of nice girls names.

Yudster wrote:What about Joel?

I really like Joel, in fact I suggested it. I don't think he liked it.. he's very picky and the ones he does like are crap.

I like Harley, Brenden, Oliver, Oscar, Joey and Danny. I also now really like Ivy for a baby girl after watching 'The Village'.

Ivy is a very nice name.

I like Oliver out of those, but we have a cousin called that already.

Dominic is a good name. I also like Benedict - but I don't like Benjamin, which is daft I suppose because either way the kid would get called Ben.

My first choice for my first son is still a great favourite of mine - Christopher. If my daughter had been a boy she would have been Jonathan. As you know, baby Yudster is called Joel. Middle names are good too - my lot are (or would have been) Elliott, Paul and Elijah (we were loving Lord of the Rings at the time. Great name.). Interestingly, Elliott and Elijah are actually the same name, I didn't realise that until afterwards.

Year 5 already! How time passes when you're having fun! You'll top the past stuff easily, purely by being you! Well done! :-)

Christopher is a good name. I like the name shortened to 'Chris'. Not sure about 'Topher' though - it makes me think of a smurf.

I suggested that too! You have impeccable taste in names.

Yudster wrote:I also like Benedict - but I don't like Benjamin, which is daft I suppose because either way the kid would get called Ben.

I just like Ben.

Yudster wrote:My first choice for my first son is still a great favourite of mine - Christopher.

For obvious reasons that's not really an option.. like I said though, impeccable taste! My brother did try to offer her £20 to name the baby Tom, after him. She didn't accept.

If I was a girl, I'd have been Claire. My brother would have been Emma and my sister would have been Robbie, had she been a boy.

I hate my middle name. I am just grateful my dad didn't get his way with my first name though.

I predict that radio 1 will have a proper schedule shake up (not like the last) later in the year which involves Chris starting later at about 7:30 and going on till 12 and Chappers and Dave being reunited permanently.......

7-30 till 12, no radio station in the world would do that and Chris wouldn't have enough material to fill that kind of time slot. The type of people who listen between 6.30-9 are different from the people who listen 7.30-10 and the people who listen to Jo's show are totally different altogether.

Can't see it working myself, and personally I'd like it if he started earlier as I start work at 8 so miss 2 hours of the show sometimes.....

Surely the whole point of them starting at 0630 was so they could catch the early breakfast audience and get their figures up? I don't see them changing that.
