Fair comment. I love the film too (The Green Mile that is).

See, if someone said that to me I'd just take it as a compliment.

The Burb's was brilliant, as was Big and The Money Pit. I quite liked the Terminal too, but it's not a film I could watch over and over again

Tom Hanks was brilliant on Jonathan Ross, he seems like a genuinely nice bloke.. I know it's easy to come across like that in public, but he really did. It was a very funny interview.

Couldn't agree more Topher. He seemed really pleasant and very at ease. Some of Ross' American guest can find him very unnerving, and Hanks just took it all in his stride and gave as good as he got. Really enjoyeable!

Tom Hanks was brilliant on Jonathan Ross. But then so was Chris Rock. Still, he was awake by then, and presumably his entourage don't feel the need to push people around and piss people off in TV-land like they apparently do in Radio-land. After all, TV is SO much more important than radio.

Anyone know Jonathan Ross's viewing figures? Just out of interest?

I read a short interview with Tom Hanks the other day and in it he said that even if his next movie role was to play an axe wielding psychopath who spends most of the film gutting and eating babies, people would still say "Oh but he's so nice"

He also said his secret to a long marriage was to "not get divorced" - Wise words indeed there.

Only the sensible ones who realise that the actor doesn't necessarily have the same personality as the character he or she is portraying.

Moyles mentioned he was brilliant on Ross as well this morning.

Well I know that and you know that but generally he does play nice guys in films and as 95% of everybody is a moron...they think he IS the person in his films...

It's like those people who abuse actors who portray bastards and murderers in soaps...lock em up in a loony bin and throw away the key....

Then bomb it!
