This is the funniest thing I've heard in ages, I couldn't stop laughing. I'm sure someone will clip it but seriously if you haven't heard it "listen again" this morning. Got me out of bed this morning!

I completely agree with Chris, although I hate shopping I am the worst shopper in the world. I always send Mr S4 food shopping, mind you we too have a cupboard full of beans, tuna and chopped tomatoes!

I hate clothes shopping, I really do - Mr Y gets me clothes for Christmas which are always perfect, so I just send him out to get me stuff if I need it. I have to get my own shoes though, which is my idea of hell.

Food shopping however - I'm very good at this, and although Mr Y is not inexperienced, if he tags along with me we not only take twice as long to do the shopping, we spend twice as much. So he is banned from Sainsburys.

I would imagine it's because you can get things cheaper than normal.

Yep, but you also suffer for the cheapness. Being trampled on, etc., etc. If that's your thing tho', and you get a kick out of boots in face, go for it!

Well, I do most of my shopping online, so I neatly avoid the being trampled on and boots in the face etc.

Met my match in whom? And, slightly more interestingly, a match in what respect?

I love clothes, shoes and handbag shopping!

I, however, do not love food shopping. I do admit to being very well-stocked with tomatoes, beans and tuna in the cupboards but I wouldn't say it looks as if I'm stocking a bunker. I do what Chris does though and I go up and down every aisle. Mr. Sunny came shopping with me the other day and not only slowed down the progress (by stopping the cart to categorize how the items were put in) but then randomly added junk food and a cup in the shape of a clementine with the straw being the stem!?

He also kept bleating, "Can we stop now? Are we done yet? Is this enough?" And, as if that wasn't annoying enough, he remarked on my method of loading the items onto the conveyor. It was apparently "wrong" and that the clerks "appreciate it if you make it a thin line rather than taking up all available space on the belt. I've actually been thanked for this!"

I just gawped at him as if he were mad. Why not alphabetize it while you're at it?

Seconds later the clerk said, "Sir, are you done with the cart yet? We need it up here." I nearly peed myself laughing.

Usually? So, sometimes I am, in fact, ahead, then?

What are the current scores, by the way?

I wasn't keeping score to be honest. We can start now if you like as long as I don't have to keep a tally between you and Viv!

I think you are very funny Cons. If I am compared to you in that way I take it as a compliment. However, I'm not so sure you should feel the same! :D

How could I not include you?

I can understand the want, almost need, to have me included, but I've rather have as little association with this as is truly possible. However, so you will have something to remember me by, I give you the following phrase for you to recite in your dark, lonely hours: -

"The closer you get to light...the greater your shadow becomes."
