Everything I've heard about it makes me look forward to reading it, whether its ghosted or not. And if it's not, fantastic.

I don't get Russell Brand, he does nothing that amuses me!

Chris's book is great on audio, I enjoyed reading it from an entertainment point of view but it's amusing in a different way when you listen to him reading it!

Didn't Moyles say during the Russell Brand interview that the book was written by Brand and then someone later on said that it had been ghost written? I have to say, S4, I don't get him either. He looks like he could use a good washing.

As for Chris' book on audio, I have it in that format, too, and love it. The story of Kieron standing above him being told by Chris was quite funny.

Ballbag wrote:I may be wrong, and I prepare to be corrected but I think that somewhere in the book he mentions that early on in the writing he abandoned the ghost writer in favour of himself.

Perhaps I'm wrong, I read a few books this last week or so.

There is one bit in there that intrigued me tho Balls, reminded me of you, because you always say he looks uncomfortable on telly, he wasn't happy about that "F*** Off" he said, it was as if he'd been on here and read your post at the time.

Any time he swears on tv, it sounds like he is swearing cos he is on tv. He can manage fine to get his point across in the morning without swearing, so why does he feel the need to do it when he can get away with it?

I want him to do well on telly - this be why I say this.

He swears in his books and in real life so it isn't surprising he'd do so on television. It must be difficult to turn it off when on air - especially if something really annoying happens.

I agree with this - I find it hard to stop sometimes when there are kids around.

Me too. It's a major difficulty for me.

I swear like a trooper around my mates but I don't even think about it when with family or customers. Maybe it's just me, but I still think if he can manage to avoid it on the radio, he can manage it on the telly.

You get used to it when your in a studio, you do just manage to switch it off, I swear like a trooper and so does my mate but when we go into the studios (him more than me these days) you train you brain to not swear. It's difficult at first but after a while it becoms subconscious.

I think Chris swears on TV and on tour because people are not used to hearing him swear, it's like hearing your granny swear (mine doesn't) or summit.

I'm a real potty mouth but I NEVER swear either on my shopfloor, in front of my kids or on air. It's like a disease when none of those factors are present though!

My sister swears like a drunken sailor. It was always very amusing to watch her when she worked as a day care provider at the Church. She'd practically purple keeping her words in.

He did seem to perk up when I said she swore like a drunken sailor!
