My son has loads, but is currently playing with his human/female/warlock (has Gladiator rank) level 70 on Neptulon PVP server. Also female/night-elf/druid level 70 on Neptulon. Whatever that means. Actually I think what it really means is that he spends far too much time playing WoW.

You might as well have been writing in Sumerian for all the sense this makes. They have their own little worlds, don't they?

My son plays WoW but I just dont get it......he made me a character and I seemed to just walk around being killed lots of the time. At 6 he plays WoW which is probably irresponsible of me, but what the heck I used to play with guns and never been involved in any massacres!!

What race/class/realm/Level do you play?

Human, Paladin, Farstriders, 49.

On US servers though, long story. If there was a way I could get on British servers as well as the US servers then that'd be perfect.

And I arrived at Feathermoon just yesterday.

I have no idea what the heck this is?

I'm quite glad as well I think as I'm easily addicted to things which distract me from the real world.

I've got a Dwarven Hunter, 47 at the moment. I've got a group of mates who play too but they only play horde, so I have a B-Elf WL too, which is why i've been playing my Dwarf for over 2 years yet still only 47.

I've been playing only 3 months. I had a bunch of folk at 10 or 12 but I got bored and deleted them.

Do you know if it's possible to get on UK servers as well as US ones?

you mean with the same account? No, don't think so. Try looking on the Wow Europe forums or pm'ing the help centre.

Andy - Its a Massively Multiplayer On-Line Role Playing game, here is the website - http://www.wow-europe.com/en/index.xml

You seen those adverts on the telly starring Mr T, William Shatner or Mini Me? They are adverts for Warcraft.

Bonanzoid, the short answer to your question is, you'd need to buy a us version of the client.

While we're talking characters, this is me http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Argent+Dawn&n=Alaen

Actually, Bonanzoid, didn't read your post correctly. You'll need a UK version of the client and install that in a separate directory - you won't be able to be on both US and UK on the same account.

I should like to point out that there is a large difference between being a geek and playing WoW; I, for example, am a geek, but unlike WoW players, I spend some time outside.

I'm with you on this one. This thread has started to scare me - they are all talking english, but I don't understand the order that the words come in!

"I've got a group of mates who play too but they only play horde, so I have a B-Elf WL too, which is why i've been playing my Dwarf for over 2 years yet still only 47"
...what??

I think we need to have a geek off, find the geekiest forum member, it's looking like Bruvva at the moment, although I'm sure I come in a close second.

Do you know "geekiness" is a funny thing : I mean, some geeks are very interesting and others boring.. there are actually 2 classes of "geek", I think.

A person can surely be taught binary!

There are 2 definitely: those you would want to learn from, and those who just put you to sleep.

Y'know, fourteen/fifteen years ago, I was sat in my university library messing about on one of the two machines connected to the internet that we had (some form of Sun microsystem using the mosaic browser) and this was derided as being irredeemably geeky back then. Now everyone does what they would have pointed and laughed at people doing not long back so maybe us geeks are just ahead of our time. Trailblazers, if you will.

Or prophets.

Yes, I prefer prophets.

See, there is a difference. Don't get mad, but this has just bored me to pieces, yet if Console says something, it's very interesting.

I remember Mosaic; without that we probably wouldn't have Firefox today, although it's equally as likely that we wouldn't have IE either, so it's a bit of a mixed bag I guess. Opera may have been around either way.

Oh, I thought of another one. There are two types of geeks in the world, those that know what my avatar is, and those that don't.
