For Christmas I got

A laptop (well vouchers to buy one I want)
Some clothes (socks, boxers, jeans, scarf)
some Nivea for men stuff
A few books and DVDs I wanted

And for my birthday I got

some more vouchers for a laptop
Some Channel smellies (my fav)
more books and DVDs (Scrubs, Police Squad, Family Guy)
some puzzles (which I love doing)
a really cool egg timer that looks like an egg that you put in the water and it changes to look like the egg you want so your eggs are always perfectly done.
Oh and some new PJs
I'm off to PC world tomorrow to get a laptop in the sale!

My parents always spoil my bro and I, but this year my dad is on longterm sick leave and isn't getting paid so they couldn't afford to spend as much. Still, I got:

A flatscreen monitor (sounds a bit dull but it is what I asked for)
A ring
Moyles' second book
Another book: The Goddess Guide by Gisele Scanlon
DVDs: Ross Noble and Mitchell & Webb
A diary and calendar
Some chocolate

and I haven't opened my presents from my flatmate yet, I'm waiting til I get back there on the 27th. It's my birthday soon too!

he gave me a home made card that was originally a reject that said "meercat manor says in your face kendra" but changed it to say "meercat manor says meery christmas in your face kendra." and "i love you" on the inside. sort of cute and pretty rubbish at the same time. (we were making cards for his sister and mom when the reject occurred.)

I agree. It's rubbish if you already know what your presents are or you just get cash cos you have nothing to unwrap. I dont care how old I or anyone I buy for is, everyone should still have at least one present under the tree!

wow, you did well! My parents refuse to give cash at xmas. My mum just has this thing against it. She won't even give people vouchers except in desperate circumstances.

My sister bought us these, so maybe, just maybe that matters more than the materialistic point of them. They are also very smart too.

I got: A Wii console (which is fantastic, and I now have golfers shoulder!!), Clinique for men stuff, vouchers, iPod cover and dock , an inverter for the car which will be great for camping trips, Richard Hammonds autobiography, Jeremy Clarkson's book, bottle of wine, bottle of JD and bottle of Bells, and a lead to connect my ipod to the tele. Without a doubt the best xmas, present wise, for years :)

I got money, which I put towards my next bout of swimming lessons I'm in improvers now, woo!)
£60 of HMV vouchers, which I put towards Transformers, Life on Mars series 2 and Ross Noble: Randomist
A pair of Lonsdale trainers (which apparently are the only brand of trainers anyone will buy for me, because they're the only ones that'll do a size that'll definitely fit without trying them on. I like Lonsdale trainers though, so it's all good).
Shirts and ties
A fantastic warm coat
Richard Hammond autobiography
Swimming goggles (proper nice ones as well)
A Sid James t-shirt
Beer

I think the oddest present has to be "Dead Fred" - a rubber thing in the shape of a dead man (with crosses as eyes) that has a hole in. It's actually a pen holder, with a hole for one pen in, so it looks like the pen has stabbed "Fred" (the Sid James t-shirt comes close too though).
