I have the misfortune of having to listen to Ken Bruce, Jeremy Vine and Steve Wright and they have all commented today and played the "proper" version. This could either be a stupid * up by radio 1 or what I think that its reverse physcology to get people talking about/downloading Fairytale of New York to keep the X factor song off Christmas number one or maybe im being synical   ??
ha ha they have censored c ock on my post!!! censorship is taking over the world!

What if we don't agree with you?

No - you WERE being ASKED to sign the petition as I had no control over whether you did or did not choose to sign, unlike the point in question, which involved us having heavy handed censorship thrust upon us.

Anyway, it's all fairly irrelevant now isn't it!!

Oh really?

Ezza wrote:I would sign it. But i can't be bothered.

I have the full version on cd, so it doesn't really affect me too much.

And thanks to everyone who decided to get off their @rses and do something about it, the rest of us can enjoy the full version now too!

Out of curiosity, did you get off your arse to do something about it, or did you just set up an online petition that no-one was going to give a crap about?

Honestly, what a load of fuss over nothing.

Wow- you must be a motivational speaker or something!

No, I'm just your average sexy beast with some common sense and knowledge thrown into the mix.

Yes, because the only reason they changed their minds was because of your petition wasn't it. The national outcry (made by people who DIDN'T sign your petition) had nothing to do with it.

Thats an almost perfect definition of democracy.

I have no pretentions about how little difference the petition made - none at all!

What I have pointed out before is that it is the principle that mattered more than anything else, and that rather than complaining about it but doing nothing to try and change it, I am pleased that those people who decided to take positive action seem to have made a difference.
