Want to know if you think Terry Wogan after his shambolic performance on Children In Need last night according to many people has had his day.

I only ever find him funny when he is the commentator for eurovision. I don't find Bruce Forsyth funny either, maybe it's just my age.

I listened to his radio show a couple of time (in desperation when SScott was covering for Moyles last time) and thought it had gone a long way downhill. He sounds like a send up of himself, to the extent that half the time you really can't hear a word he's saying.

His Eurovision commentary is priceless, no-one else could possibly do that. In fact, when he finally does retire, who will? Moyles couldn't, at least, not on his own - he would need at least Dave with him, or maybe the whole team?!

I don't like Wogan anymore... well past the sell-by date. And he's AWFUL at points of view.

I haven't seen him on that. He was doing the bedtime story on CBeebies all last week though, and that was very good.

Without a doubt, the best job he's ever done is narrating Stoppit and Tidyup.

That was a brilliant show.

Maybe your age, or maybe the fact Bruce Forsyth isn't at all funny.

As for Wogan, he's great on Eurovision, but I kinda wondered what the hell was going through his head during his appearance on the Children In Need Buzzcocks edition.

The man didn't have a scooby what was going on. He is rotten on live television and God help the poor folk that are sitting up in the gallery trying to put a decent show together.

This is what makes him great to watch.

Wogan forever.

I thought he was either drunk or almost asleep (or both) on the charity Buzzcocks thing.

He certainly wasn't drunk.

A lot of the "bumbling old fool" is a character. The guy must work extremly hard. If you listen to what he talks about, he certainly isn't stupid anyways - he knows what he is doing.

Unfortunatly, the bumbling old fool character doesn't always work - especially on something like buzzcocks which I would doubt if he (or Ken Bruce / Jeremy Vine) would ever have seen.

That was just horrifying. Wogan doing his whole "fake huff" thing was cringeworthy. Maybe for a minute or two, but maintaining it for the whole show was tiresome.

He is ever so old though, even older than me, and he does sometimes look and sound half asleep. And he is mumbling more and more as time goes on - I don't think it's all "character", I think he is genuinely getting too old for all this! At least, for the long stints like Children in Need anyway, which must be exhausting for anyone.

Exactly, it's too much to ask of an oldie bloke like that.
