It's on Sirius Radio which you have to subscribe to but get loads of channels and I have no idea how to do that but on the plus side it's timeshifted so all the time links are correct so it starts 6.30am local time. Or you could just go onto listen again on Radio1 ON-LIIIIIIIINE! Failing that there's always the Podcasts

I'm sure one of our American contributors on here can give you more details about using Sirius, I'm sure at least one of them subscribes.

I listen online at work. It means I'm always a day behind, but it's worth it!

Louis, AndyB is correct. You can subscribe to Sirius and it is all time-shifted for east coast time. It's Channel 11. Barring that, just go onto bbc.co.uk/radio1/chrismoyles. You can listen live or click "Listen Again" which is a great feature because you can pause it.

My company has blocked the streams for Listen Again from any BBC show. Spoilsports.

Our IT Dept has blocked the BBC Radio mini sites full stop. They've obviously got nothing better to do!

Can't you listen live when it's on? Maybe the timings may be a bit off in America, but shouldn't it at least be possible?

Or perhaps they were asked to from higher up, that's how it usually works.

We have blocked Windows Media streams full stop and Real Player isn't installed. We blocked it for the World Cup last year, so we didn't waste shitloads of bandwidth and now I can't remember the Group Policy option to unblock it, but not to worry.

These are precisely the reasons that I tunnel everything through my home computer; admins can't block anything that way.

Yes, it's possible, but I for one am not getting up at 1:30 am to listen live!!

An option for those who can't use live streaming at work is to record from listen again the night before, then take it to work on a memory stick. (Audacity is good for this, you can download the program from t'internet)

Sirius is the best thing ever. There are more than a hundred music stations, commercial free, and I listen to Radio One all the time. The time shift is great and I always feel like I'm basically listening live, even if the news is 5 hours old. My Sirius radio also has the ability to record, so if I want to sleep in, I begin recording at 6:30am and just listen when I actually get up and go to work.

Sirius costs about $12 a month, but I have to be honest, I am obsessed with it and can't imagine life without it. Both my parents have also gotten it for their cars, because they loved the Broadway stations on mine so much (and extra radios are only $6 a month). Everyone I know who has it, is obsessed with it.

Other than Sirius, I also sometimes listen again... in fact thats what I was doing for a year before I got sirius. Only problem is you have to be at a computer. Sirius you can do anywhere.
