Quite Suprised in the Russel Brand interview to hear both Chris and Russel perpetuate the myth that Brand wrote the book himself!

It was ghost written by Ben Thompson, a journalist. I suppose few of them write their own these days, i mean, who has the time hey??

Well, Chris claims he wrote it himself doesn't he? And to categorically claim that if it wasn't true would be very very stupid.

I thought he was talking about Brand's book, not Moyles. I find it unlikely that Brand wrote Moyles' book.

And yes, I heard Moyles say he didn't have a ghost writer.

I know he was talking about Brand's book, it was more his last comment and the fact that it was posted on a CM website that intrigued me. I wasn't acusing I was meerly asking if that was his intention or not.

Chris has repeatedly stated he wrote the books himself and one only needs to read a little bit to "hear" Chris in the words. I believe andyk was talking about Brand and as a newbie thought he'd share his thoughts on the CM board.

Yeah, sorry if i wasn't clear enough - I was talking about Brands "Booky Wook"
CM asked Brand if he wrote the book himself, and Brand said "yes". I think later in the interview CM wrapped up by saying something like "....its all his own work, go and buy it....."
Obviously Brand wasn't going to correct him, and i felt a bit sorry for Chris annoucing something i belived to be false.

The article was originally published in tuesdays Times2 supplement, so it was still fresh in my mind - hence my wince when the show was broadcast!
The fact Moyles did write his own books probably makes him more likely to assume that everyone else does too.
