This is normally the point where I switch off from the X-Factor, so its ideal that Sharon Osbourne apparently threatened to quit last night, because Moyles is on standby to replace her it seems.

If I'm wrong, I'll have absolutely no problem standing up and admitting it, but I'm reasonably certain that this is as fixed as the phone voting on X-Factor is; she'll be back.

I'm surprised our New of the World quoting friend didn't either. A similar article is on BBC, but they make no mention of Moyles; the inherent problem here is that he is quoting from the News of the World.

After what he said about it this morning, I'm inclined to think he won't. He sounded pretty pissed off that X-Factor has not only become boring and tedious (become?!!), but that they are "using him" for publicity by constantly spreading rumours that he is going to be part of it. He shouldn't have anything to do with such a rubbish piece of television trash.

I thought Sharon actually looked quite pathetic on Saturday night: really silly and childish. Give us a break from all these stunts, eh? As Moyles said this morning, she's probably on around £50K per show, and will be back by this Saturday (agreed totally).
