yep i did, i was sitting with my, wife n daughter having breakfast :) , sorry about the text speak, i wont use it anymore, slightly ironic im told off for using it as i also hate it but dont realise im doing it sometimes, so again, sorry and will desist. :) , but you say this board etc gets a slagging off, all well n good, but if you personaly were picked out and had some very rude, not in the slightest bit funny said about you, that has directly lost me business , one customer ( pub landlord) stopped an order as his customers in the pub were taking the micky about jerky made by a "fat sweaty bloke" and the chap in question isnt a m8, hes a right miserable bugger with no sense of humour,so he just stopped the order, so its not just a little gripe or mioan, im very angry about it

You're either very naive, or very misguided. Anyone who goes on these reality style TV shows and then moans about how they were treated in my opinion has no leg to stand on. You made your bed.

Also, the smileys are a tad annoying too.

Oh, and get a spell checker too while you're at it.

Oh come on, that wasn't even a paragraph apart.

You may not have found them funny, but I did, and I'm sure others did too.

You went on TV to get attention, you can't now moan, or whine, or whatever you want to call it, just because the attention you received isn't the exact attention you wanted. That is the risk, the gamble you took by appearing on TV, and on a program, I might add, that seems to be watched because it belittles a lot of the 'contestants' on it.

All of the above is exactly the risk you took when you went on the programme.

There are two possible scenarios here:

1) You were too naive to realise there my be a chance of it ending up like this.
2) You were extremely well aware it could end up like this, but believed that it wouldn't, and you're now trying to salvage something from the mess.

In either scenario, you were clearly not cut out for the experience, and you certainly haven't demonstrated any business sense in any of it.

aw damn, sorry, genuine mistake
You went on TV to get attention,
yes we did, your right

its not that, sorry to be boring and repeat myself, but its the footage they added after we left the studio that is the problem, nothing we can do about being made to look foolish, thats our own fault
Also, the smileys are a tad annoying too.

Ok, so what does that have to do with Chris Moyles and his comments?

Ok, so what does that have to do with Chris Moyles and his comments?
as a direct result of his comment on the radio i have lost at least one customer, thats all, that and i think it was out of order, this here is a CM message board so's i thought Id whinge on here , if anyone is bored or doesnt like it they dont have to respond, they can read other threads :D , once i have been the the last poster on the thread for a while i most likely will get bored n not bother is suppose, but balbag makes me laugh so i keep coming back to read his/her posts, its bit like a car crash really, just cant help but keep looking as you go past ,

This is ace, you really are a dunder-heed. How can you not realise that you're going to do well out of this. Come back in a month or two and tell me how that 10 minutes or so of car crash TV has affected your business.

If you put yourself in the public eye you have to accept the consequences, good and bad. Had you gained any customers you wouldn't have bothered complaining and, I doubt, you'd have been on here thanking Chris! By the way Chris hardly ever comes on here so you're just complaining to a lot of people who actually like him and are unlikely to choose you over him so you're on a loser to start off with.

His comment was that you looked grubby and sweaty and are supposed to be preparing food. I consider this a good point; if you can't dress up nicely for what you clearly considered to be a very important business appointment, with or without national TV cameras there, why should anyone believe that your hygiene is any better when preparing your food? I know you have made the point about being under hot lights and kept in small rooms, but as I said before, all the contestants will be treated like that and most have made themselves look presentable (I'm not talking specifically about the episode you were on, I'm talking in general, as I didn't see your edition.)

you see thats not the issue, its why we went on there yes, i wont argue with that, we wanted exposure for oursleves and our product, BUT waiting till we left the studio, then adding footage etc that we were not there for but that it gives the impression we were is very wrong ( this bit has nothing to do with Chris Moyles at all, but he was with one of the people who were involved with the extra footage taking the pee out of me personaly, thats why im angry and thats why we are pursuing it legaly (again nothing to do with Mr.Moyles), nothing we can do about "heavy" editing, but there is something we can do about xtra added footage thats very pertinant to the overall programme, :)

Or anyone else on here? Talk to your lawyer - there are one or two people in the legal profession on these boards occasionally, but this isn't the way to get cheap representation. I can't think why else you would be moaning about it on here.

I've seen the programme now. You got off very lightly. One way or another it could have been a hell of a lot worse. And reality check - I don't care how many standards and hygiene certificates you wave at me, I wouldn't buy food from someone who looked dirty. I'm not saying you ARE dirty, but on TV at any rate, you looked it. The lights and conditions didn't seem to have affected the other people on the show particularly, so I really don't think thats relevant. Your clothes and hair wouldn't bother me in the least by the way, just your general air of grubbiness. Impressions are important. Ok, if I knew you, I would possibly know you well enough to alter that impression, but when I go shopping I'm not looking to make a friend, just buy some food, so first impressions are vital. You made a very bad one.

So you're point is that as a direct result of Moyles' comments, which in turn were a direct result of your appearance on 'Dragons Den', you lost a customer. Did the customer specifically say that it was because of Moyles' comments? I find it just as likely that it was a result of your appearance on 'Dragons Den' that made him rethink the order (after all, what makes Moyles so good is that he does say what a lot of people are thinking, but don't vocalise), or perhaps the stuff you're selling to him wasn't selling well for him.

Brilliant, in the same sentence you accuse me of being 14, whilst simultaneously projecting that same impression upon yourself with another annoying smiley and a disastrous grammar error.

I'm 28 by the way, it says so just about here............................................... \/

Oh, pedantic too. Well in that case, I think you'll find that leaving a gap after a word and before a comma is a gramatical error.

Also, I can't help but notice that you're blaming Moyles's comments for you losing your customer in the pub. Did we the public really need him to let us know what to make of you? It's not like after listening to him I suddenly thought "oh, hang on, that sweaty mucky guy, with the silly hair, bad business ideas and bad clothes is actually someone I wouldn't like to buy food from". Some of us did make up our minds before hearing the show.

Simply because you asked for it:

I knew it, you're 14

Spelling and grammar errors, before we even open the debate about whether numbers should be spelt out, or the digits used.

You really are trying to make a bad impression worse, aren't you? You've lost the argument numerous times, and are still coming back with the same tired points.

You put yourself on national TV, as a result you got a negative (but in my opinion valid) comment on national radio. If you can't handle it, you shouldn't have got into it, end of story.

Its why I don't watch "reality" TV. I don't like seeing stupid people get what they deserve, I have more compassion.
