Oh well, I actually managed about 15 minutes this morning before I had to switch off to avoid hearing something so horrendously cringe-making it made me want to eat my own head. That must be close to a record in recent times. I used to like Scott Mills' shows so much, its terrible what has happened to them.

I would imagine his listening figures are good - lots of people seem to really love what he does. I just wish I was one of them!

I'm glad I'm not one of them, I like having intelligence. But I guess it is radio aimed at the teen market...... so I'm not supposed to get it really.

His afternoon show used to be a good listen too, before the advent and horrific over-use of the truly dreadful Laura. Someone please give her a job on TV, maybe she'd make a decent CITV presenter or something...I was going to suggest T4, but to be honest, I don't think she's even up to that standard. Or maybe MTV, that's be great, I never watch MTV.

I don't think that's really the point though, is it? It's a funny song, first played in the UK by Danny Baker (a very good DJ, IMHO), and Scott's picked up on it. I don't like everything Scott does but he still manages to make me laugh on a regular basis. I think Laura brings a lot to the show, though.

Yeah when he first took over form Sara Cox on afternoons i liked him, but then i drifted away, and it was when Laura and Chappers started playing a bigger part in the show that it went completely downhill for me.

The whole show just sounds so fake and scripted now, and Laura could very well be the most annoying person on Radio 1.

I'm really mad that they managed to get that bras song into the actual Charts.. it charted at no. 27 yesterday, I believe. It's really too childish for words.
