Just to let you all know, Chris will be appearing on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross in two weeks time (5th October), discussing his new book. Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman will also be appearing on that episode.

I don't like Jonathon Ross's interview style - it always seems to come across as him trying to be funny and steer the guests down roads just so he can get a punchline at the end of it. As an entertainment show, its alright, but as a replacement for the void that Parky left, it doesn't work in my opinion.

Plus, did he not say on a comedy awards show that he doesn't even write his own gags?

I think Ross' show is excellent. I agree with Gaspode, he's very good at it.

Love Jonathan Ross.

Elvis didn't write his own songs. Its entertainment whereas Parky tries to be a bit more serious. I think people want a bit more light relief than Parky offers these days.

He has been on that one before.

Look forward to him being on Johnathon Ross, and I agree with Gaspode with his comparison to parky, both excellent at what they do IMO, but Ross is more, sort of, Radio 1 whereas Parky is more Radio 4

The service...is available to all Sky+ customers. Once users have registered their mobile phone numbers on the My Sky section of the Sky Active menu, they can instruct the box to record a show by texting its name, channel, date and time to a special number.

So if you havent set your number up, you are out of luck :(

I am guessing it will be on youtube soon enough, and will hopefully stay on there as it isnt the whole show.

No worries, I was able to use it :) Show is up, a[…]
