This alll comes back to Keith Chegwin again! I watched a show on Halloween years ago, where he was going to look at a haunted house with Maggie Philbin and she appeared to disappear...lots of screaming and weird goings on and all on a supposedly live show. It was very good.

I have not watched the show you have mentioned. There is an American version, but I have never watched that either.
