The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Another pointless topic (sorry!)... Moyles and gang were going to discuss "ghosts" this morning after 0900 hours, I believe...

I am still on reception duties, and haven't been able to hear it... What has been discussed? Was it worth listening to?

It was something to do with some people from Radio 1 going ghost hunting with Yvette Fielding (I think). They haven't actually done the 'hunting' yet, so you haven't missed anything; they'll be doing it tonight I think.

Its on the now.

Surely people don't still believe this programme?? I'm not wanting to get into a "do ghosts exist" debate again, thats been done to death that one (done to death! get it?!). I mean surely people know its all a load of televisual entertainment?

What programme is it? I also can't believe that most people do believe that they're actually encountering 'ghosts' on the show, if they were that easy to be found they would have been proved to be real a long time ago.

ever the sceptical one... I don't wish to get into a big debate either.. I just didn't want to be missing something appealing.

Well, I may be wrong, but if its the same one she was on a few years back and the one that Mr Mills was on then it would be Most Haunted on Living TV. (strangely its the only show I can name on Living TV!)

And I have never watched a whole show but it seems to centre around people in dark rooms hearing noises. Night vision cameras are used to the max. As far as I am aware, they have never seen a guy walk past the camera with his head tucked under his arm though.

There was a programme on Sky 1 a while back about how to make people believe they were having a ghostly encounter - it involved lowering the tempreature of the room at certain points and using those air-zooka things to make it feel like something is brushing past, where it is really just a guy at the other side of the room making air move quickly.

There was also something about putting magnets around the place which made the person feel "weird" in the middle of the magnetic field. The bunch of girls that they were using as guinea pigs were reasonably spooked.

I think 'X Files' is also on Living, so that's one reason to have the channel.

Do I need earphones for "listen again", or do I just press buttons... never done it before.

The x-files was a class watch until they got carried away with all the government conspiracy nonsense. They promised to answer all the questions in the film but all it did was pose more questions. Then I got bored with it.

Well, you'll need some sort of audio output hardware, unless you have the ability to 'hear' light. Other than that, you just need to go to the Chris Moyles minisite on the BBC website and click on today's listen again link.

Well in the bits I heard, I was expecting music from Ghostbusters to start, and was sadly disappointed.

btw, wasn't Scott Mills in some "fiasco" where Yvette had become really frightened by something, and it had turned out to be Scott all along... sure I heard that somewhere. Weren't there a lot of people really angry about it?

Scott's a genius... He had pretended to touch Yvette (or something like that), Yvette thought it was a ghost.... then much later he had confessed, outraging a lot of Yvette fans (something like that!!).
