Yeah, but given that the name would have been originally given by a non-Welsh person (presumably), the Welsh prenunciation wouldn't have mattered.

I won't use it if you find it insulting. I didn't mean thief when I said it.

I don't call you sweaty! Nor do I call you a glitch in the Matrix! and furthermore I don't point out that we at least have our own language as welsh is a language much more widely spoken than scottish gaelic!

Thank you Topher xx

Come on, you've got thicker skin than s4b... I don't say anything in a perjorative sense. You can call me whatever you like, I couldn't give a shit.

As you are ASBO Girl, I'm sure you can come up with something far more insulting than that.

ahh this is true. I just thought I should throw a wee strop.

So? Both are more or less defunct and as far as I can see, unnecessary?

Any way the joke I liked best was Daves, I was offered 4 legs of Venison for £120, but I thought it was too dear !

Surely it's what you get on the way home from a decent night out.

"Howz it goin mate... *hic* im a wee bitty drunky *hic* can ah have... *hic* have hashish kebab mate..... NAW!! None ah that sauce! Ahm gonna be havin enough problems as it is the morra!"

Say the above in a Scottish accent for full effect.

where do we have a bad name?

Last I checked, everyone loves the Scots apart from the English, who are just jealous. I can live with that.

I don't watch Soaps, they tend to not portray real life. Therefore, I'm afraid I don't put a lot of stock in your point.

I dont know of the incident you refer to Gasman, but i'll take your word for it.
