CM: "I've got a Duckdoo"
TEAM: "Whats a Duckdoo?"
CM: "Quack Quack".

sounds similar to on that I've said before:
ME: "I've got Mehdogdoo"
ME MATE: "Whats Mehdogdoo"
ME: "Bark and pi$$ up lamposts"

and similar gag from Red Dwarf in 1988 (Rimmer tried to use it as a chatup line he was practising on Lister)

"Would you like a wormdo?"
"Whats a wormdo?"
"It wriggles along the ground like that (does wriggling gesture with hands)"

shush i'm doing the whole "am I really funny routine" as a double bluff so people think I am being sarcastic and dont really care when I really do.

I dont even know if I am double bluffing anymore.

Taffs is not like the word which I shall call the "B" word!

I'm still not convinced about how bad the "B" word actually is. Although I was discussing it with my friend the other day and she did hit me when I hinted about calling her it.

It is to me and the 'B' word is dreadful! You know I'm not a prude but I hate it. The 'T' word comes from the poem which means all welsh people are thieves!

Are you sure? Is it not derived from the River Taff, which runs through Wales?

P.S. Methinks foot-loose is slightly relieved we have gone from Scot bashing to Welsh bashing...

It comes from the poem which goes

*s4b clears throat*

"Taffy was a Welshman, Taffy was a thief, Taffy came to my house and stole a side of beef" Nothing to do with the Taf which runs through Cardiff as far as I know

I still think it's taken from the river. Is it not possible that the poem used the nickname, rather than started it?

possible but that is the meaning I have for it and therefore find it insulting in the extreme! And we pronounxce it T-AH-Vuh not Taff so I can't see the connection
