Going to Rhodes now on Wed. We got an all inclusive 5 star package holiday for £335. It'll prob not be even nearly 5 star when we get there but for that price it was worth a shot. Anyone been to Rhodes?

No. I have been to Roade, however, that's on Junction 15 of the M1. Not quite the same thing.

Sounds nice anyway.

Baby Yudster (again) - he is watching Star Wars Phantom Menace (he's about the right age....) - and when I say watching, I mean acting it all out. He just ran up to me and said "I has to fight vat baddie now, Darf Paul, an maybe one boy wil get killed, but the uvver ....wil win an Darf Paul will go in two bits!". He was right too. Uncanny.

Is it a thick Essex accent I detect there? Quick Yuds, get out of there, move to the home counties before baby yudster is branded a moron for life.

Ah well done Catherine.

Don't be silly Ballbag, don't you know any ASBO kid worth their salt (for want of a better phrase) breaches their ASBO on a regular basis.

I have had the courage to go to the doctor's. I plugged myself into my little radio before going in, which calmed me down!! I've got to go back in early October, and have had to give a sample. Hopefully, we will figure out what's wrong. I'm going to get my hair cut tonight, and then I'm going to the swimming pool :-)

Whats making me smile today, nothing... well, except this post:
Yudster wrote:Its the connotation that's "bad". At least I hope so, because my church is having a spit roast in October, and I'm hoping it only involves fire, a pig and lots of good crackling. Either way I'll go along though.

This fella at work is fasting so it amused me today to talk about food a lot.

Also telling a woman at work that Muslim's believe Jesus existed as well (but not as the Son of God) and her refusing to believe we weren't winding her up.

Yup...you are correct!

What's making me smile today?
The fact McLaren have finally actually been punished for cheating in F1, but with that Lewis Hamilton is still in the running for the Drivers title.

They've made a complete charade of the whole thing though.

Ron Dennis is one of the most miserable men in F1 (after Frank Williams.)

What about Kimi (Mr Personality) Räikkönen?

Or David (Mile-Wide-Face) Coulthard?

Those are both good examples; F1 is not full of charisma, it's fair to say but no one is as bad as Frank Williams, in my opinion. In 13 years of watching Formula One, I don't think I've ever seen the man smile.

Bring back Eddie Irvine. And Eddie Jordan.

True, and I can't stand the guy, or Alonso now. He seems very bitter every time Lewis actually beats him fair and square, guess he's changed from the likeable person he was after he won his first title.

You can kind of understand why he feels the way he does, but the professional thing to do would be to keep those feelings to himself.

When you're a double world champion and a 'rookie' driver comes in (as Mark Blundell seems to like to refer to him every single time he speaks) and is quite clearly on a par with you, it must be difficult to deal with; however he has made a meal of dealing with it.
