The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Between the constant replaying of the unfunny Hiro clips, the endless and equally unfunny impressions of someone from Big Brother and the inane interview with an 18 yr old American actress with nothing of any interest to say, I found today's show extremely irritating and even considered switching off. This is in sharp contrast to just last week when the ads for Dom's gravy were cracking me up for a good half hour. Is it just that I don't watch Heroes or BB, or was today's show a real off day? just wondered what you all think...

I think people that are really into Heroes, and many blokes, will have enjoyed it. I have watched Heroes but not got into it as much as some. I didnt care about the interview particularly, it was better than the one with David Beckham though... not that thats too hard.

Well I got called a psychopath - I'm fairly sure that's actionable.

'actionable' as in what, you're gonna sue Moyles?

Yup, reckon I can get a holiday out of it at least...

Not really - does piss me off though. He's done it before. :D

*edited to point out that this WAS NOT SERIOUS*

Ah but we believe Rachel about that not Chris. She says you're lovely and we believe her, well I do anyway.

You must realise it's all a bit of banter though, he doesn't really mean it?

I didn't really like the bit of the show I heard this morning Nicola_Red, though I did only hear some of the interview. I am a Heroes fan to be honest, but it certainly wasn't one of Moyles' stronger interviews.

It was less an interview, more a long drool.

I Chris' defence though, he did say that's what it was going to be!

agreed and I'm guessing Jo Whiley's interview was the same, but without her admitting that's what it was.

There seem to be more and more of the long drool interviews tho, and whilst it might be funny once in a while, it's starting to grate on me now.

I loved today's show, but probably enjoyed it more because i love heroes and have seen the whole of season 1.

Blasphemy!!! :).

I thought this mornings show was allright, the interview was just the same old crap Chris always does, but the rest of the show was ok.

It might have been a drool but she played along with it. The interviews are cringe worthy when he drools and the guest sound genuinely worried but he still carries on drooling. She sounds like the kind of guest that would be better each time they came on and got used to the show.

Agreed, but I'm unusual in that I don't generally look at blondes and automatically think "wow shes gorgeous" like many seem to. Not that I don't like blondes full stop or anything though.

She did well at playing along and even started reversing it at the end.

I don't think that's unusual, I think it's unusual to find people who automatically like someone purely on the colour of their hair.

That said, I find darker hair nicer generally.

Same here about darker hair (or even the various reds out there), but generally I find when going out drinking that most of my mates seem to have their attention caught by blondes... in which case when they go over I swoop on the brunette or redhead mate that has escaped their attention. Rock On.

Pepper from Neighbours isn't attractive either.

Give me Amanda Peet anyday.

Well that's just crazy talk, although Amanda Peet is certainly hot to, and she's great on Studio 60.

I LOVE dark haired girls. Salma Hayek, Monica Belluci, Aria Giovanni...I'd take them over these identikit blondes any day!
