"I'm off my head on sugar". (R1 DJ Sara Cox, 26/9/08)
During a recent brilliant tedious link Comedy Dave has suggested that if you eat honey produced in the region in which you live, you won't become ill (!!). Hmmm.
I LOVE tedious link, not just because I'm interested in what the "Song of The Day" will be, but also because I just love the random "facts" that Dave can come up with!
Anyhow, the afore-mentioned got me thinking of "myths" in general. What are the most fantastic stories you have ever been told, whether as a child, or as an adult?
Personally, I think the most bizarre "myth" I have ever heard came from an evil Auntie, who, upon seeing me chomping on apple pips (aged approx 7), told me an apple tree would grow in my tummy!!
