But I don't find you funny and I know other people do. So it must be that i have a sense of humour and you and everyone else don't.

Thats only logical right?

What I'm worried about, once I've made that shape with my hand, is what you want me to do with it?

Has anyone seen any good films recently? I liked die hard (the new one) and Trasformers. I was really disappointed in the Simpsons film. Thought that would have been better than it was.

Transformers was poo. The special effects are pretty good, but the rest was pants...... oh, and Optimus Prime is a big girl's blouse.... he constantly gets his butt kicked.

I thought the special effects were really good especially at the cinema. The final scene was a bit strange... with the two main charaters lying on top of the car. Considering the car was meant to have a personality it was a bit pervy.

Oh and I LOVED the guy from the army who was also the baddie from Die Hard. He is really hot!

Hahaha, now that you say it, imagining two people getting giggy on top of you is not a nice thought.

I haven't seen any new films for ages, but I did catch (on Film 4 I think) the chinese film Hero, with Jet Li. I didn't understand what was going on from start to finish, but it was absolutely brilliant visually, the acting was immense, the imagery and stylised presentation completely drew me in. Totally loved it, and now I want to see more chinese films. Any recommendations?

I saw The Simpsons, Betti. I went with the feeling that it was going to be worse that everyone thought it was going to be and I was quite happy with it - pretty much did what it says on the tin. However, having watched it again (dont ask how) I have spotted a few holes in the plot. The one that bugged me the most is this "Spider Pig" character - where did it go? It just kinda dissappears half way through...!

Anyway, I'll stop talking about it now for fear of spoiling anything for Sidla.

Not a film, but a tv show I've been watching is Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Its from the same folks as The West Wing and has Matthew Perry (Friends) and Bradley Whitford (West Wing) as the main characters.

"Behind the humour of producing the popular late-night comedy sketch show, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is a world of backstage politics and romances, and a very delicate balance between creative talent, on-air personalities and network executives."

It basically shows the "behind the scenes" side of television in the same way as West Wing did with politics. Ive watched the first three episodes so far and im pretty impressed.

If you can figure out how the hell to work it, the previous episodes are on Channel 4's On Demand video thing.

Perhaps Homer ate Spider Pig.

Someone also said that Maggie said he first ever words at the end of the film. Does anyone know what they were. My boyfriend likes to be the first to leave the cinema so I didn't get to see the end credits.

Someone said (It might have been gbm, i'm not sure) that it was only running for one series? Is this just a rumour or has it been confirmed?
