what's annoying : pretty much everything (moan, groan)... still, it's Friday, which means hopefully some rest over the weekend :-) I have an upset tummy at the moment, but hopefully the 2 Aspirin pills I have taken will make it all go away.

Aspirin is one of the things known to cause an upset stomach Viv, not the best thing to take for digestive issues. Hows the new job?

Shortlisting for a recruitment is annoying me today.

it's not for digestive issues... am taking for menstrual issues (which Aspirin is supposed to help with, I believe?) It ain't working mind you so far. The new job is OK... still not what I'm looking for, but giving it a chance! Still early days.. the terminology is a whole new World.

Good luck with the short-listing :-)

*clears throat*

"A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no
Or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming

A whole new world
A dazzling place I never knew
But when I'm way up here
It's crystal clear
That now I'm in a whole new world with you
Now I'm in a whole new world with you"

Oh yeah baby!

My Foot.

I fell down the stairs last Sunday and twisted my ankle. The swelling has finally started to go down today, but its a bright purple!
For those of you geek minded like me, the purple has the following CMYK Breakdown -

C-60
M-90
Y-20
K-20
Yep, I'm that bored!

Thanks Viv.
Its amazing when you're off work, you realise how much people rely on you to get things done, I've had so many phone calls asking me to email stuff to them.

I'd have preferred it in RGB.

Red Green Blue, its the colour mode usually used for light based projections, (TV, Internet etc as opposed to CMYK (Cyan Magenta Yellow and Black) Which is the standard colour mode for Print.

The 'K' actually stands for Key; although it is usually black, it doesn't have to.

I only found this out a year or so ago, at Uni we were taught that the K stands for black as to not confuse it with Blue. I actually have written notes upstairs that say this.

I thought it was 'K' for 'Key' as in 'Key plate', although I could easily be wrong, I just remember being told it by my art teacher once.
